The relationship between temperature resistance and material classification of Teflon wire:
The temperature resistance of Teflon line is different from that of external materials.
There are 3 categories in the following categories:
PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) nonstick coatings can be used continuously at 260 degrees centigrade, with a maximum use temperature of 290-300, a very low friction coefficient, good wear resistance, and excellent chemical stability.
FEP (fluorinated ethylene propylene copolymer) nonstick coatings melt to form a porous film during baking, with excellent chemical stability and excellent non stick properties, and the maximum use temperature is 200.
PFA (perfluoroalkyl) nonstick coatings, like FEP, melt and form non porous films during baking. The advantage of PFA is that it has a higher continuous temperature of 260 degrees, stronger rigidity and toughness, and is especially suitable for use in high temperature conditions for anti sticking and chemical resistance.
